The peckers are pecking the sensors out of my game cameras.
Does anyone know of a camera that is pecker proof?
Are there any devices or ideas to prevent this from happening?
If you have pictures on f things that you've done to prevent this please post.

put a coon cage around your camera ...

Varmint cage around it. Or you can just use 3/4 mesh and cut a hole to get better clarity. But the varmint cage can work great cause there's already a door to access the camera

The belief is that they associate the noises made inside the camera to be that of bugs inside of the bark of trees. The peck everywhere and the sensor area is often the most delicate. I love this video...

My woodpeckers aren't all that smart either but at least they tend to peck the corrugated metal on a blind near the feeder/camera area. The problem I have is with the wood rats. Huge number since the rains of Spring 2015.
