Seems to me the City of Flower Mound needs to fill out an acquisition / procurement request for a trap and have somebody with the city take care of the problem (animal control etc). The means exist but I'm not sure if they'd allow the discharge of a suppressed .22 in the city limits. The City would retain ownership of the trap for future mitigation efforts......

My house is only a half block away from the corp property in FloMo and my neighbor at the end of street has had the state come in and put a hog trap in. Funny thing is they have failed to bait it and no luck so far. Trap has been in place 2 weeks now. The guy in the news article is actually off of High Road, which is a bit down the lake from where I am, but I see hog sign all the time hiking the trails. I'll run down and take a pic of the trap and post it. Some neighbors here are wigging out about wild pigs, I just smdh and carry on. I can tell you there are some monster bucks on this side where no hunting is allowed. When the pressure hits during bow season on the west side of the Vine, they move over to where my place is. Bobcats are a bigger problem along with yotes. Many small dogs and cats go missing around here.

isn't there a law on how you dispose of hogs after being trapped, like not releasing at another location.
