I have a friend from Indiana coming down in Sept. because his Elk trip got cancelled. He's looking to bowhunt an Axis & some pigs. I'm trying to help him find a good outfitter that knows bowhunting. Gonna need lodging, preferably within 2-3 hours of Austin.

Check out Alpha Outfitters. The guides name is Jason Wallace. He's a great guy/guide with 5 star amenities but it's really affordable.

Curtis is a good guy. If you haven't found a place already I can get you set up and have multiple
ranches in the Sonora and or Rocksprings area to hunt which puts you at just a hair over 3 hours away.

I would recommend checking out Extreme Bowhunting. It may be a little further then you were wanting to drive but Caleb is top notch and they have great animals at FANTASTIC prices
