I have a chance to get some property in Navarro County south of 287 along Richard Chambers Res. Anybody have any idea what the deer hunting is like in that area? I'm not one of those that look for a big set of antlers, meat is what drives my hunting. The listing agent isn't a hunter and she can't seem to answer my questions about this critical aspect of land.

I hunt Navarro but the other side of 45. But would think with the water and cover, there would be deer.

I hunt behind Richland Chambers. The deer hunting has gotten much better since Antler restrictions have come along. Seeing alot more doe now too.

Should be good area if it's not underwater. Navarro county got 80 inches of rain last year!
We do have a four day doe season for this upcoming season FYI...
Some nice deer are taken during the rut!
