After waiting for months, on Wednesday I finally got delivery on a RPR in 6.5 Creedmoor! Then, Friday night, I attended a benefit dinner and after the dinner, they had a drawing for an RPP in 6.5 Creedmoor. I had bought one ticket; and guess what? For the first time in a VERY long time, I actually won something at one of these drawings! Not sure what I'll do with two of these rifles, so maybe I'll just set one of the back in the far reaches of my gun safe and just sit on it for a few years.

Nice, I never win anything lol. I'd unload the extra one now before supply catches up with demand though.

Yup.

I doubt they are going to increase in value. Get it while the gettin's good.

Definitely dropping in price, and you have the highest demand caliber.

Sounds like I'd better try to sell one of them rather than hanging on to it. I haven't been watching prices since I had a standing order for one, but if they're dropping, sure no sense in considering them "investments!"

Price is only dropping because demand is high and supply is low. Not because it's a bad rifle. But that means if you want to sell it anytime soon, now is the time.

I'd sell now while it's still a high-demand gun. But then again....it is black and looks like an AR15 so maybe you can double your money in November.

Currently, that's the situation. And as it changes (demand decreases, supply increases), the price drops. Sell it now before the situation changes.

Sorry - I can see how it was confusing to read.

Well, I took one of them out and shot some factory Hornady loads through it. A box of the Boar (120 grain)loads and a box of their Match (140 grain). I liked everything about this rifle except the accuracy I got from it! Everything worked smooth as silk: stock adjustments were easy and quick to make; the magazine fed flawlessly from 1 to 10 rounds loaded in it; ejection was crisp; trigger pull and break were great; it did all the things Ruger and other reviewers said it would, but my groups were mediocre to terrible, in my opinion. I was using a nice, proven piece of glass from Leupold. I had the rifle set in a solid Caldwell rest. I fine tuned the scope first at 50 yards and then moved out to 100 yards for my final 15 shots with the 140 grain bullets. I sure hope I can tighten this up, because, right now, I have a whole bunch of rifles that cost a whole lot less money and that shoot a whole lot better! (I invited my son, who's a lot younger, has much better eyesight, and is a better rifleman than I to shoot a few rounds through it, and he couldn't make it group at either range.)

Those groups are the fault of the ammo, not the rifle.

All right, FiremanJG, I surely hope so. I now have some brass that I can work with and although I do not have any H4350, nor can I find any for sale, I'll use some other powders than have been recommended and see if I can improve the accuracy.
