found some .25 WSSM 120 Gr winchester Powerpoint for sell on Cabellas website. Hard to find so get it while you can.

How do you like this Cal compared to the regular 25-06 ? I love the short action.

I love my 25WSSMs. But if you get one, better stock up on ammunition, or brass if you're a reloader.
Also, it's hard to match the 25/06 velocities with reloads. Winchester loads factory Ammo pretty hot. The case capacity of the WSSM is closer to a 257AI than the 25/06.

heck . does the shorter case like the lighter bullets you think? Meaning 100 grn or less ?

Don't think the case cares. I like 120s for deer.

My son received for high school graduation from his grand-dad. Likes the accuracy and consistency. Primarily used the 120 grn with his. Downside has been ammo availability and cost. Good news is his grand-dad will reload for him.
