I wish I could get my hogs interested in this. I have a string of poles on my property and they go unmolested.

I also treat selected trees with Kreso-Dip mixed up in a back pack sprayer. They will rub that too. Enough that it actually girdles some trees (pines mostly).

Sometimes I'll mix some used motor oil and some diesel in pump up sprayer to freshen poles up. Hogs seem to like it.

Just about any oil based petroleum product has that effect. Diesel, old oil mixed with diesel, and permethrin based products.

I've been using this one on my place for years. Look at the reduced diameter of the pole down low. But I thought I was the only one. You're telling hogs like it too?

You're telling hogs like it too? what I find fascinating is there are 3 telephone pole on the edge of this wheat field. There is little to no sign on the other two and the hogs are all over the field

Until I saw pictures of hog rubs like the ones on this thread, I thought it was a myth. I hunt over 10,000 acres on different places in Texas and not a single pole shows signs of pigs being there. Even the fresh new poles that the Coop set show nothing, and we have a lot of pigs. Maybe I need a flea/tic infestation to get the hogs itching really good.
