I have a small 22 auto loader that the stock is cracked on. For the life of me I can't recall the maker and they can't be imported anymore, but it is identical to the Browning SA-22. The hand grip of the stock has cracked, prob from drying out, as this gun has never been abused. A browning stock will work but they are spendy, and cost as much as this rifle is worth. I don't mind replacing the front and back stock so they will match, if anybody has a lead on any that would be great

If it's the take down model, it's made by norinco. Possible to have the stock repaired?

Thank you, yes it's Norinco. We inquired about a repair and everybody that looked at it said no way. At one point in time, Boyd's made stock sets for it, but no longer produce them

GunParts (Numrich Arms) is currently sold out on the buttstock, but if you register your need with them, they will fix you up as soon as they acquire one. Give them a call. Here's the relevant page at their website.

What they do is buy old, unwanted, and broken guns, then take them down for parts. They've been around forever, I'd love to tour the warehouse there.

GunParts Norinco 22 auto stock

I wish I could have done better for you. This does at least give you an avenue to eventually get it up and running again.

Look on Gun Broker, there's a used Norinco rifle on there for $150,then you'd have a spare parts gun also.

Buy you a chunk of whatever lumber you like. Then you're welcome to come use my milling machine and tooling anytime you like.

I built a stock from scratch and it only took about 20 hours. grin
