If you can get a scope mounted level, it will make it easier.

I use one of the rail mounted levels that flips out and I really like it. I think it is made by USO. I shot with it and a scope mounted level side by side and prefer the rail mounted version.

I have several of the ones that mount on your scope. I like them because if you change out scopes often you leave them on the scopes and all you have to do is level the gun then mount the scope using the bubble. You've already leveled the bubble with the cross hairs in the past.

Unless that flips out I think it will be hard to see. I like mine on the scope so it's on the same level as my eye. I can look in my scope wth my right eye and watch my level with my left eye
