I have a ranch in Mt. Home that is wanting to shoot about 50 Axis doe. These hunts will be conducted safari style and setting in the stand the hunts are for rifle only. This is a great hunt and will see over a 100 Axis a day.

We do have minimum requirements for these hunts. We require 3 people minimum and 2 doe per person minimum. We can put you with another hunting party if you do not have 3 people wanting to go.

The price of Axis Doe is $350 each includes guide, skin and quartering

Meals and lodging is $150 per night night in a first class lodge.

Thanks for looking and Happy Hunting to you.

Mt. Home is beautiful country. Hunted there a lot. Indeed, it's near Kerrville.

Sorry we couldn't come out Kimber1911.

Somebody better jump on this; Kimber's a great guy and this is great country, not to mention the price point is almost unbeatable.

up

I have a handful of people wanting to book hunts in June.

I need to get a few more so we can get the groups together and set the dates.

Thanks in advance

Sounds like a great hunt and the price is right but if you have so many why no archery? No offense just curious.

I will say honestly Axis is one of the toughest animals to kill with a bow. I know most ranches will no allow archery hunting for Axis bucks even.

On meat hunts most people will not do archery for the reason being its more trouble then what it's worth.

I know some instances some people might allow it but you would have to pay an x amount for a daily guide fee on top of the kill fees and lodging fees.

It all comes down to having allot of time invested in it and still a good chance you will come up empty handed.
