Did you know Blaze Pink is now a legal alternative to Blaze Orange in Wisconsin? Legislation has been introduced in other states also. Does anyone think this will really attract more women to hunting? Gary

May draw more men to the sport I honestly don't know if woman hunters, would associate the color any different.

I enjoy my pink camo shirts from Wally as much as the next girl, but I think it's pretty silly. I think women who love to hunt or are genuinely interested in taking it up aren't going to give a damn about orange vs. pink. If she's that worried about how she looks in the field, she isn't that into actually going hunting. Just my two cents.

I will make my wife wear blaze orange when she is in the woods. It's about being safe not about walking down a fashion runway.

I think any of the fluorescent colors (yellow, orange, pink, etc.) are probably equally safe. If its safe and it makes a segment of the hunting public happy then I'm all for it.

I'm all for anything that encourages more people to get out in the woods and have fun. If pink camo makes it more fun for you, then that's awesome. I'm still an orange vest kind of guy that's probably 30 years old without any need for anything newer or fancier.

Texas Blaze Orange Laws
Man and Boy Hunting All persons on public hunting lands (state, national forests, and grasslands) during daylight hours when hunting with firearms is permitted must wear at least 400 square inches of hunter orange material with orange headgear, and at least 144 square inches appearing on both chest and back. The one pictured does not meet the criteria because of the camo pattern. Most states have minimum unbroken requirements.

It would meet the requirements for Wisconsin, which is where the law is being considered. It would for Texas, as noted. http://tpwd.texas.gov/education/hunter-education/blaze-orange-lawsThe only states I find that require unbroken blaze or flourescent orange are Rhode Island, Maine, Maryland, Kentucky South Carolina, and Mississippi. http://www.examiner.com/article/reqirements-for-blaze-hunter-or-fluorescent-orangehttp://www.tbcpress.com/A14-1251-3.htmlhttps://books.google.com/books?id=yMV3nz...lid&f=falseHeck, a bunch of states just strongly suggest orange be worn, LOL.

It would meet it in Michigan as well. I would imagine it would be OK anywhere blaze camo is allowed.

My wife shoots Sporting Clays with a camo pink Beretta 12g, while wearing camo pink shorts and a matching cap. If she was going to deer hunt, it would be in Blaze Pink .
We all need to practice Whoa more.

Maybe it's not for women but for homosexual hunters. You know everyone has to recognized these days.

Missouri is another one that require unbroken orange Sure enough! So we are up to 7 states...still a long ways from "most states" requiring it.
