Anyone have any build plans or know of the best made out there? Going to build myself but need something to somewhat copy. Pipe or square tubing? What type of seat? Best way to assure the bed latch stays latched?

I fabricated a high rack with seat for my Kubota RTV, used a seat with rail system from Cabela's and fabricated the high rack frame out of 1x1 square tubing (might have been 1 1/4 square?) with gun rest. Drilled 4 holes thru the fab'd frame and thru the bed/bed frame of RTV, used bolts with locking nuts to hold in place. Rented a chop saw, cut and welded, drilled and installed seat rails & seat, mounted treated 2x6 for foot rest. ... took about 1/2 day. Would have come out prettier if I had a wirefeed welder, as the stick burner was pretty hot for the thin wall tubing.

I found a good used bus seat and started with that. They are perfect because 2 people can sit on them. I paid like $20 for mine.
