Anybody know what size it takes? I was at cabelas today and I couldn't find any to fit it. Seems a little fatter than most 1-4 scopes.

I would think it's the same as the regular VXR 1.5x4 which according to the chart is 14 and and 02A.

I know the 02A is correct because it's a 30mm tube with no bell so that part is easy.

I think the patrol model is maybe slightly different in size. I think I tried those at cabelas the other day and they were too tight.

Surely someone has some on their patrol and knows the correct one.

Print out the pdf link and use the template to measure or measure with a caliper.

That's a good idea. I do have a caliper.

If you figure it out, please post the answer.
I have a VX-R Patrol 1.25-4x20mm that I might like to get caps for.

Not saying it's the best option, but I had a secondhand Nikon Prostaff that had some electrical tape on the objective to make a Butler Creek cap fit.

The secret to a long life is to try not to shorten it.
