I've had a piece of 1095 in the shop for a long time since I haven't used any for years. Well I decided to go back to the basics and make a knife from it.
It's really a no frills knife, no mosaic pins, no file work, nothing fancy. Just an acid etched blade with a neat little hamon line from the differential heat treat and some stabilized spalted Box Elder scales with copper pins. Heat treated and tempered to HRC 60.
This is one that you can really put to work without worrying about scratching it up. 8 3/8" overall and 4 1/4 tip to scales.
$135 to your door.
Thanks for looking,
