Got some video's and a picture of a buck on my place. The right side antler is growing out of the side of it's head, not on top. I can't wait to see what this deer looks like in a few months.

Yes, it looks like the deer is sprouting a third antler from what I can see in the videos.
I'll have to find out why the videos aren't working.

Let's see if the videos work now.
The buck will come across the picture starting at 3 seconds. Pause the video for a better look.

No Nuke's anywhere near where I hunt,LOL. I'll be headed back up there next weekend, and hope I get some better pictures and video of this deer.
I've never seen a deer growing an antler out of the side of it's head, and I've been hunting them for almost 40 years.

Here's some newer pictures and videos of the mutant buck, and also one of the offspring of a huge non-typical buck that we saw a couple years ago. We called his daddy Heart Attack,he had the largest rack that we've ever seen on a deer in Cooke county. It looked like spears were coming out of his head, but we haven't ever seen him again and nobody in the area has talked about shooting him. He was a monster!

That first one with the antler down on the side of his is crazy looking.

We had a deer a few years back that we called Dorky Deer. He had broken the pedicle off of his skull and it reattached and grew up closer to his eye. When we did the Euro mount we could see were bone had grown and filled the hole in his skull were the pedicle broke off. I wonder if this guy did the something like that.
Oddly that antler grew back somewhat normal and the other antler was dorky looking and he never rubbed the velvet off of it.

That is pedicle damage on both bucks when in hard antlers in the past. You can tell by the angle the antler is growing on the bad side compared to the good side. They tear or break an antler into the skull during the hard antler period during the rut usually. I have seen it quite a few times over the past 25 yrs. It can stay the same for years or sometimes after the second year the buck can grow a normal set of antlers.
