Our Kubota RTV900 has been solid and reliable for years, but recently gave me a little trouble. The 'accelerator brake' that wants to throw you through the windshield quit working. The problem first showed up with the RTV being hard to get out of gear. Then it got worse, and the RTV didn't want to come to a complete stop. You'd have to hold the brake down hard, and even then you couldn't get it out of gear. I had the accelerator cable replaced. That helped, but wasn't a total fix. Finally I called a knowledgable guy about it, and he said the fix was simple - just soak the area where that cable joins the engine area with penetrating oil or spray. I did that, again and again, over a day. And I worked the accelerator pedal a lot. Finally the penetrating oil did its job, everything loosened up, and all is well.

Since the dealership really didn't know how to fix this, I thought I'd share with ya'll.

good to know! We replaced that valve (the throw you thru the windshield one) on our first RTV but haven't changed it out on the current one as it doesn't tend to throw you as hard.
