This came off one of my trail camera's this week. I have never shot a Bobcat. Anyway to tell the size on this one. By that I mean...small, just average, large.

Pretty decent size would be my guess, if your place is as grown up as ours was 10 days ago, then those white flowers are mid thigh high,

Mid-size to larger T...I've shot one down in Laredo that was skinny but very long; they had to get a custom mold for him. The coloration on yours looks good as well..

Assuming that I can get this bobcat, any suggestions on where to take it and what kind of mount to get?

Have it mounted to look like it's jumping to catch a bird or squirrel that is mounted above it

It's a decent size cat, you can tell when a big 25lb tom walks out. I would wait and try to get on this cat in the winter when he will be a little bigger and be in his winter coat. As far as taxidermy go down to the taxidermy section on TTHF. Check out some of the mounts gods creations has done, they are absolutely stunning!!! If I ever get another cat he will be mounting it no matter what.

Really nice color pattern but not a big cat. You can tell by bone size and skull...if really big, heavy, chunky head and big heavy bones in legs and really big looking feet. They look chunkier and very masculine if big toms. TxBuck is right, for a 25 pound tom is really an above average cat. Adios, Gary

Average size bobcat, good markings will make a good wall rug.

Not a pro here, but I've seen a couple of cats. He/she probably a pretty good size cat, because of the height. Keep in mind, it's coming up to summer time, and he/she doesn't have that thick fluffy winter coat.

Anyway to tell the size? Yes, shoot it and weigh him...

dogdown23 is right. I have to laugh because the image is quite ambiguous without knowing the distance of the cat from the camera, height of the camera, angle of the view, fall of the land, etc. The flower heights are all variable in the image despite being noted as being "mid thigh." Given that many of the flowers are lower than the bobcat, and some are more than double its height, either the bobcat is a normal sized bobcat or is the size of a shetland pony.
So how big is it? From the answers given...
decent size mid size to larger larger side not big average size pretty good size
For me personally, I would say it is either underweight or hasn't reached maturity where it has filled out yet, so is likely still growing. Txbuck touched on this. So I will add to the ambiguous categories of sizing with...
Not full sized yet.
So like dogdown23 said, "shoot it and weigh him..."

If you plan to do anything with the hide or mount it wait until next December. Fur will be better and it won't slip.

18-20 lbs is my guess. I usually get a couple hundred bobcat pics a year to look at. And we do harvest a couple each year. Seems like I am always about 2-3 lbs shy of guessing their weight from the camera to the grounds.
