I'm getting ready to do some hamburger dill chips. There is really not much to write. My original recipe called for a gallon of cucumbers packed with dill, jalapeņo, and garlic. Make a brine with 2 pints water, 1 pint vinegar, and 1/3 cup salt. Pour the brine over the cucumbers and you have dill pickles. I simply sliced my cucumbers for hamburger dill chips.

How long do you let them sit before they taste like pickles?

How long do you let them sit before they taste like pickles? Just a couple of days. Thursday night is cheeseburger night for me. I plan to try them on my burger Thursday.

I want another one of those pickles. We used to call them ice box pickles. Mom made dill and bread and butter pickles.

I hope to be making a bunch of these this year. You are a few weeks ahead of me as usual bill. You Houston and further south Gardeners are always a few weeks ahead of me. I used your recipe last year and we love it.
Haven't had it in years but never spit any out. I am a sucker for happy endings and strapped cowboys.
