Anyone ever hunted this place outside waco? If so, how is it?

I've never hunted the place but have been going by it for close to 12 years. Their lodge is super nice plus I see many of their animals quite often. They have several trophy scimitar oryx, wildebeest, lechewae, blackbucks, and did have some monster elk, but haven't seen them this year.

Reach out to dcrancher (Travis) on the forum. He is the ranch manager.

Big D you are on the right track. Deep Creek Ranch is one of the best managed ranches around, great animals of many different species and good people to work with. I took an elk there a couple of years ago. You will be in good hands.

BigD1836,
We have hunted with Travis @DeepCreekRanch and from start to finish was the best hunt we have taken to this point!
Lodge is Very Nice, the meals are top notch and Travis go's above and beyond to get you on your animals.
My wife took a beautiful trophy Elk, my oldest son took a trophy Oryx and I was fortunate enough to take a Trophy Black Buck that had been on my bucket list. We had a blast not only hunting but hanging out and shooting the breeze with cold refreshments in the evening. If your debating on taking a hunting trip w/ Travis on the ranch, rest assured you'll have a blast and would return in my opinion..

Trophies we where fortunate enough to take w/ Travis on that beautiful ranch,,

Deerhunter61,
If I recall correctly, it's just a bit under 3000acres from what I remember Travis telling us as we where shown the property.
If you have any other questions, feel free to send me a PM
