Just about an hour ago, I went out back under my cement carport and damn near stepped on this thing. A guard light just barely illuminated the thing as I got within 2 feet of it. Looking on the internet, I see photos saying a coral snake is described as "red touches yellow" and a skarlet king snake is "red touches black"

If that's the case, I deem this one as a coral snake.
