This is my second season to turkey hunt. Last year was a learning experience for me but I ended the season with never taking a bird. This year I ended up with a Jake in the second week of the season and the 3rd week I got this Tom. Most of the time I am only able to hunt public land, but on this week a guy I work with offered a chance to hunt his nearly 1000 acre ranch. I only had a couple of hours to hunt then I had to get back home and get ready for my niece's birthday party.

Here is a video from my hunt. After I took the shot the other Toms stuck around so I sat and watched for a few minutes.

Congratulations! That camera angle makes it look 100 yards away initially.

Welcome to the chase for these stupid, yet frustrating birds.

Lol the Gopro makes everything seem so far away. The shot was only about 20-25 yards. This year I definitely got hooked on turkey hunting.
