Back in High School, a group of us went up into a canyon where the so called White Witches house was at. An old abandoned house out in the country that was full of rumors and stories everyone told. There was about a dozen of us in three cars. We started looking around and then heard the most gawd awful scream ever!!! It happened over and over again, getting louder by the second. We all ran away, got in our cars and raced away as fast as possible. The sound, along with everyone else in panic fear was contagious. I was scared too.
About a week later I went back to the house with a friend during the middle of the day and saw that there where peacocks there. Turns out that they make a heck of a scream!!!!!

Many years ago I went to the lease by myself and hunted the afternoon. My buddy couldn't make it till around 10:00 or so. I sat around the camp (with only lanterns as we had no electricity) by myself and I'll tell ya, it was the longest 3 or 4 hours of my life. I wasn't scared, but lonely I guess. Any way, I was more than grateful when I saw the headlights from my buddy's truck coming up the Sendero. Going solo ain't for me.
If you want something done, tell a Texan its impossible
