I don't think it is for human consumption. smile

That stuff is $30 a quart. That makes is about 8 times as costly as regular motor oil that comes in the same sort of container, LOL, or about the price of 200 lbs of corn.

I see where they claim 9 independent studies have proven that the stuff works. There are millions of independent studies that prove plain corn works.

I am sure hogs eat the stuff and if you have hogs and put that out, I am sure they will eat it just like they would do with corn. If you don't have hogs already, they aren't likely to magically appear because you poured out $30 of product on a tree stump or the ground.

I have given up on snake oil products as well. A bag or corn or my preferred corn/roasted soy beans is $10 or less. 50lbs is quite a bit of bait.

Plain corn works a well as anything.

I'm in the camp that promotes plain ol' corn.

I do sometimes spread a little Jell-O or Kool-Aid around, mainly because it's pretty cheap and easy to do. I don't know that it makes a difference, although on one occasion I did trap a 295# boar that previously wouldn't enter my trap. However, as they say, it's difficult to establish a trend from a single data point. Also, the boar was already coming around to the trap and eating outside of it. I certainly can't say the Jell-O brought him in from a distance.
