The new Tikka T3x rifles are starting to show up in quantity now. They are improved models of the popular T3, slightly but not a lot more expensive. The ejection port is larger, the bolt shroud is metal instead of plastic, more scope mounting options, the synthetic stocks are a bit better, etc.. Walnut stocks seem about the same to me, but I did not look closely. http://www.tikka.fi/rifles/tikka-t3x

HOw about the plastic stocks? Do they feel any better or improved? That's the one thing I dont like about Tikka's is the cheapo plastic stocks.

The larger ejection port is a huge plus in my book.

they supposedly made the gripping texture better, and filled the stock with a sound-dampening material so it doesn't sound hollow.
