Around the Mineola Big Sandy area?? The new one, Woods something, is no longer a public range.

Shooting clubs vary quite a bit both in price, and in the quality of the facilities.
If you shoot fairly often, sometimes you are better off with a private range. The sportsmans club I belong to asks 40 bucks a year. For this I get a key to the gate that is good for a year, dawn to dark. About the only time it is not available is if they are sponsoring a match.
The one I used in Denton was 125 bucks a year, that is the most that I have ever paid, and it was well worth it.
If it is a private range now, see what they want for a membership.
Kind regards, charlesb

Honestly, I avoid public shooting ranges like the plague. I can't stomach the tactical mall ninjas, or full-auto experts. I made the mistake of once taking one of my full autos to a range, wanting to test a new caliber. Just shooting semi, but barrel length made it obvious I had something unusual. The "Experts" came in droves.
Plus, the amount of fingers on triggers was amazing. Muzzles all directions, thought I was back in Iraq, lol.
I promise if you find a private range you will be happier and safer.

There used to be a public range less than ten minutes from me. Well, it's still there but I don't go anymore. People are scary.
My botnet is bigger than yours.
