going to the lease to fill feeders and set out cameras...i would like to get yalls opinions about the settings that we all use on our different cameras..what settings maximises the whole myriad of scouting..specifically time between pix..my cameras take a 32mb sd card..so i ideally get 20,000. .30,000 pix..so what settings do yall use..multi bursts..multiple pix on each cycle..time between pix.. My trips to the lease will be about every 2 months..any feedback would be appreciated... cameras i use are all mid-range brands..not too fancy..thanks!! fyi ill have an external solar battery pack to prevent loss of battery power to camera

I use a Primos 46 ultra and I always have it on the highest resolution possible and a single burst picture. As far as frequency, from around March through mid-late summer I have it set to a minute between pictures and the rest of the year 10 seconds between pictures.

I have a 32 GB card as well so it isn't the fact that I don't want to run out of card space, but with the multiple burst option, I get 500 pictures of hogs every night instead of a 150 or so. The same goes with does, if you have two does with a few fawns with them come in for 30-45 minutes, I get so many pictures that it becomes mind dulling sifting through them. There have been a few times that I wished I had the multiple burst set for when a nice buck walked through and didn't get the most favorable shot of him. But out of the hundreds of thousands of pictures that I have looked at, I have only had that happen to me a handful of times. To each his own though....

On a feeder, 1 pic 30s-1m. That's about conserving card & battery while covering the entirety of gap between camera checks. On trails or just open areas, make sure nothing is going to trigger it like brush blowing in the wind and you can do the 3 shot bursts every 10-30s.
