Turkey hunting this morning saw 2 fawns this morning. Doe that was not obvasily pregnant like the others I saw this weekend was acting a little strange and heard her bleat a couple times. She had come walked across an opening downwind of me and snorted but continued to some oaks about 80 yards away. Could not see here but heard her bleat a couple times while in those oaks, after a few minutes she walked on away. I got up and checked those oaks from about 40 yards with the Binos and could see 2 spotted little deer. Left the area for them to not disturb them any more than I already had.

How about it are any of you seeing any fawns yet. The other does I saw this weekend were very well along with their new crop

Not deer but here in northeast New Mexico I came across a pronghorn doe with a fawn that was a day old.

Haven't seen one yet, but found a few this time last year.. A few of the does on TC still look "heavy", but a couple look to have dropped.

A couple weeks back I saw a doe antelope outside of Big Lake with a newborn. No whitetail fawns seen yet though.

I frequently drive thru the old Country Club area checking out the deer herd status and feeding patterns. I'll start swinging thru there this week and see how many are starting to drop. I live off 29 west and have about 5-7 does that drink out of a water station in my back yard, haven't seen any fawns yet and does seem to still be carrying. have 5-6 buck starting to get some growth on antlers.

My pregnant doe are still full of baby/babies...haven't dropped any fawns yet that I have seen.

Just saw our first fawn. It and its mother moved off too fast for me to get a pic. We have very pregnant does all over the neighborhood; should be a bumper crop of fawns this year.

I just saw my first fawn of the year today, dead in the middle of hwy 271, just south of Mt. Pleasant.
