Does anyone have a reliable POC that repairs water windmills in the Menard, TX area?
I'm no expert with windmill wells, but can see from the obvious that the cable that connects to the pump rod has snapped and dropped the pump rod. I'm not sure what all it would take to get it repaired and back up and running.
Feel free to PM if anyone has any leads.

Closest one I know of is Lange Drilling in Rowena. 1-325-442-3611, but it has been about 18 years since we used them. After that I recommend Google.

it is really not that hard. If you have a vehicle with a winch it is even better.
may have to pull cason up to remove first joint.
when the going gets really tough, I sit down and rest

I'd yank it and put a solar pump on it X's 2 if you depend on it. If you pull it yourself, or have it done, I would have the leathers or whatever is on the pump replaced at the same time.
