Hi We have just finished a few new blinds for this 2016 bowhunting season. They are all build from brick and the even the roofs are cement. We are situated in limpopo province South Africa. We have big tempreture fluctuation during the day.

Those look really good! Almost like hunting out of a house!

Thank you.The wind blows in the same direction 80% of the time so it gives us the oppertunity to build permanent structures. It can accomodate up to 4 people.

What did you use to span the roof?

We used zinc roofing sheets as the basis. We then did a steel mesh structure on that.A cement slab was then poared onto that 4inch thick.
The tempreture us very consistant in the hide.
Even moving in side is so silent that we get shots under 15 feet.
Takes about a month to build the hide including curing time of the slab.
regards

This is one of the older hides. 4 Hunter can easily fit.We also sleep over here to be in for the morning cession.

Notice one way glass on windows.

We have started doing a 1/4 below ground on our blinds. They seem to work very well keeping scent down in the floor. The animals do not react like they were when we were hunting out of carpet blinds. This is a great idea!

I agree. We are also in the opinion that we see the animals much better from this angle .we have thick bush and are on eye level with the animals.
