Ordered everything from Palmetto, upper, lower, bcg. Went to academy and traded in my vortex dtrikefire red dot for a Nikon P223 scope. I need magnification.
The handguard is a bit bulky, it has a large nut on the end.
What do yall recommend that is light and cool, not to expensive.

Utg slim lines hug the barrel fairly nice while still having a decent price point. It does use a proprietary barrel nut.

Midwest Industries makes some nice, slim rails.
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

Midwest Industries makes some nice, slim rails. I'm impressed with their rails. Just posted my first build which is almost identical to what you did however went with a MI rail. I'm happy with it.

I'm a dude who likes long barrels!
