Ordered everything from Palmetto, upper, lower, bcg.
Went to academy and traded in my vortex dtrikefire red dot for a Nikon P223 scope. I need magnification.

The handguard is a bit bulky, it has a large nut on the end.

What do yall recommend that is light and cool, not to expensive.

Utg slim lines hug the barrel fairly nice while still having a decent price point. It does use a proprietary barrel nut.

Midwest Industries makes some nice, slim rails.

I'm impressed with their rails. Just posted my first build which is almost identical to what you did however went with a MI rail. I'm happy with it.

I got one of their slim rails and works great.
