Been playing around with this stuff for a little bit now in my 6mm Creed with good results. It does seem to be a bit faster than h4350 which it's right next to on the burn chart. My old load of 4350 was 41.8gr with a 105gr Hybrids and it yielded 3040fps from a 22"Bartlien. Get to the 4451 and was recommended to be in the 41gr area and with virgin brass 41gr yielded 3098fps with pressure signs. I backed it down to 40.6 and got no signs of pressure and a velocity of 3039fps with a sd of 11.6 all with virgin brass and shot very well (around 2" at 450yds). Going to be able to check it in a cooler temp this weekend but preliminary checks show it is pretty stable.

I'm going to try it on my 7mm Ackley soon with 160-168gr stuff. I'm running Varget right now as 4350 is just too slow to give an advantage and I'm hoping something in between the 2 would be nice.

I tested 4451 for temperature sensitivity and found it to drop 50-65 fps from 80 down to 35 degrees in my .243 Win (See previous post on this subject.) Not too impressed. Hope your results are different. Please share after you test.

Working with it on a 30-06 and a 308. Hope to get out this weekend to see what/how it does.

My temp was in the 70's for my initial velocities and it should be in the 40's Friday when I test again. I'll report back after the weekend.

Ran 10rds across the chrono Fri with temps at 41° and harsh winds and velocity was only down about 5fps. I shot it the next morning and Sun morning with temps in the upper 20's with no I'll performance in velocity.

You and me both. Going to run it a bit more but I really like what I'm seeing.

Well, the 30-o6 didn't care for it too much. Best group was only 1.25" and that's only 3 shots. Temps were in the upper 40's with light winds and clear skies.

The 308 on the other hand, liked it quite a bit.

Put 5 into a ragged group. The dot is 1/2"

I'll load some up and check for repeatability and run them across the magnetospeed to see how they gin along.

Played with this a bit in my 7mm-08 Ackley improved. Got some Lapua Palma brass sized and formed. Loaded 45.5gr of 4451 and a 162gr eld match I yielded 2799fps with a sd of 10.7 and a es of 27fps, not the greatest numbers but shot sub moa at 375yds.

My supply of H4350 is getting low and I can't find anymore, so I am going to do some testing with 4451 and Berger 130's in the Creed. And maybe with 100 SGK's in the 243.

I am excited about the new Reloder 16 powder that should be good for mid-sized cases like 6.5 Creedmoor.

My standard powder for 6.5 CM 120-130gr has been AR Comp... not top end velocities but moderate recoil and outstanding accuracy across multiple rifles.

In the 6mm Creedmoor with the 105 or heavier for me Reloder 26 has been impressive.

It seems to be. I wasn't hugely pleased with the groups at 375 but the wind was a little shifty. Going to run it in a match the way it is and go from there as I won't have time to get it streched really far out yet.

Finally got a chance to shoot the 7mm load farther than 375yds. Sadly the range was partially blocked by round bales so I was limited to 630yds. I choreographed 10rds and my numbers jumped to a 16.4sd which I'm not pleased with. I shot this group standing on a bucket with the rifle laying across the round bale with a full value wind that was far from steady.
