With only 1 1/2 hours left in the 2016 season I got my 2nd bird. Got to hunt the last day with my best friend "Wife" and my best Labrador Retriever. I called this bird in to about 40 yards and got him with a load of copper 4's. Life is GOOD...

What is the crop your in?? or is that a weed of some kind?

Was an alfalfa field, some volunteer coming up but mostly weeds now.

I thought it might be alfalfa just from where you live, but hard to see the leaves good. When I lived in Colorado, my landlord had older Alfalfa fields that looked similar to that, made great horse hay with the grass mix..He would rotate them out every few years with a new planting.

Yep the owner is running horses on this pasture. The turkeys like it also, lots of new flowers popping up.
