Decided to try something new last night. Had Spaghetti with homemade deer meat balls and made Mozzarella cheese stick for the first time.

Was really easy, cut a brick of mozzarella cheese into sticks approximately 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch and 2-3 inches long. Bread them with a 50/50 mixture of Italian seasoned bread crumbs and parmesan cheese and egg wash, double or triple batter and place on a cookie sheet in the freezer for an hour. Deep fry at 350-375 for 90 seconds and enjoy. Dang they were really good and seemed to stay gooey in the middle way longer than ones you would buy from the store.

So you cook in the oven for an hour then deep fry?

Ah! Yeah, if I have time I like to do that with my ABT's.

I had some at a restraunt the other night and they were made with pepper jack cheese. Instead of being normal shaped cheese sticks these were shaped like squares. Not sure if they cut the block of of cheese up or got some individually wrapped single servings of cheese.
