In prs it seems thunderbeast is popular as well as crux and silencer tech. These guys are after precision above all so that says something about the choices.

One side note about crux is they are Texas based which is a plus. They also their cans preform best supersonic rounds vs subs. That has something to do with their baffle core being designed to catch fast moving gases.

If weight isnt a huge issue and precision is your goal...check out the Allen Engineering AE30. Its a reflex style can so it slides over the barrel about 2.5". I have one and use it on ARs and my 300WM bolt gun and it is awesome.

Look at the Thunder Beast Ultra 7 or Ultra 9. It's as good as the 30-P1, only lighter. Available in direct thread.

It is far more important to be able to hit the target than it is to haggle over who makes a weapon or who pulls a trigger.

If you can find the 30P-1, you can get very good prices for them. I bought one in January from a local dealer for $800.
I wanted an Ultra 9 last October, but the wait for them was too long from TB.I bought a Mack Brothers Varminter 3.0 from Dakota Silencer, it's an exclusive suppressor of theirs. It weighs the same as the Ultra 9 plus it is user serviceable.
Most will say you don't need to clean a centerfire suppressor, but after taking it apart after 500 rounds, I'm glad I can clean it. It had a lot of carbon on the baffles. I paid $850 for the Varminter 3.0 can.

I'm not a Thunderbeast fan after seeing 2 of them get launched down range. They are lighter for a reason- the walls of the can are much thinner, and handle less abuse. They also have a weld at the front where they mount to the rifle, which is the weak point and where they separate.

Top 2 choices I have seen are Shark Suppressors in Plano, TX and Crux out of Houston. I know both of these owners well, and they make a great product.

Every manufacturer has their issues.

Thunder Beast will take care of you and quickly! No lagging on e-mails and phone calls.

Can't say that about Crux. They have had their own issues with cracks. They fixed them but a bit slow on comms. I will probably pick one up some day when I get that itch to own another brand.

Of your 4 choices get the Thunder Beast. Not sure why you won't consider the Ultra series unless you're getting a great deal for the older model.

On silencer shop when I sort by direct thread no other Thunder beast models come up - I want purely direct thread - no adapter that makes it direct thread

The less moving parts the better

Silencer Shop does not list the Direct Thread version on their website. Capitol Armory has it on their website if you want to look at it. The TBA Ultra can be changed from their CB mount to Direct thread mount by sending to the factory if you decide to change it later. There's no difference between the two in accuracy.

I've got a Harvester. It's a great suppressor. I use it on the 7 mag and .308.

I have an aac sdn6, tbac 30cb9 and tbac 6.5 ultra 9 in jail. The aac is fine for shooting when I want to have fun, hardly a precision can. I got lucky and have no "wiggle" but it's nor repeatable after removal. 0 issues with my cb9 and the ultra 9 TBD. In tbac from here on out. My cb9 has been 100% repeatable, 2" drop ECERY time. The aac is 2" low, 3" low, 1" high. My buddies yhm fantom had windage shift, screw that.
