Wanted to share my first AR 15 build in 223 wylde, several more coming shortly (6.8 spc and AR10 in 7-08). Very pleased with it and it shoots great! Shout out to TexFlip for advice/words of wisdom.

PSA upper, 16" ss fluted match barrel 223 wylde 1/8 twist, Midwest Industries 15" ff rail, PSA lower & parts kit with MOE butt stock and grip. Vortex strike eagle and 1 piece mount. Shoot great! I'm going to replace the trigger with a CMC single stage here shortly. I'm a Leupold guy but the strike eagle is hard to beat for the price point.

I like all the parts of the build except the MOE stock. One reason only; it doesn't have a QD socket for my VTac slings. I just don't like a rifle without a quality sling. It's like boots with no socks.

Only plan to take it to plink with at the range. Sling wasn't a priority on this one like my hunting rifles.
