Went to go fill my feeders lots of sign... I decided to sit in a different blind across the ranch. The feeder went off a at 7:00, 30 or so min went by and thus sow and babies showed up. Waited for a shot and bam she went down. The piglets ran off and came back after a minute or two for two lined up and bam. Three less rooters out there!

Good shooting! Looks like you back-halved that one piglet.

Fonzie, you may have mentioned it before, but where approx. is your lease? Don't need specifics, don't want to give away any secret hot spots or anything, but just curious as I hunt in young county now. I am in between Newcastle and Graham, theres a lot of pigs my way too.

I'm also in young county...between Loving and Graham! We have a ton of pigs and we want them here. We eat everything we shoot...except the stinky ones of course! (Only had 1 out of last 50 not worth eating)

Sounds like we need to do a Young County hogfest some time.

Cheers!

Yep! We have 3 fresh litters on top of 2 litters a few months older running around grouped together with several older sows and a few boars. That's one sounder. They eat 50 lbs of corn in about 10 minutes! Lol On top of that we have a smaller group of about 6-8 80-150lbs and finally 3-5 single boars roaming. So, unless your smoking a box of cigars and playing heavy metal music in your blind...odds are your going to see pigs.

Cheers!
