Wanting some feedback on what people think are reasonable prices for common exotics. Honest reasonable prices based on current values not pie in the sky you wish it was that cheap price. Let's hear it ... Thanks

I agree to these prices but it seems like you can find nice oryx for 2500 the last year or so.

Sika and Blackbuck are $1,500 if you shop around and wait for a deal. Axis is $2,000 to $2,500 at a lot of places. I'm seeing Oryx for $2,500, which is what I'm looking for right now and think I can find a better price if I hold out for a special. Niglai are also in the $2,000 range, which is another one I'm watching. Pere David for under $3,000 with the best price at $2,500 so far. I should have jumped on that one, but was too slow.

He wasn't asking for the best prices...just what the market averages are right now.

I have shot some of these in the last few years at various places for much less!

Those are pretty much wholesale prices. And if you can get a trophy pere David for 2500 I'll buy all of them.

Just an FYI. Based on what I'm seeing in the white tail world. About 50% of the smaller breeders have left or are leaving white tails, and at least considering raising exotics and or super exotics (all their infrastructure is in place). Near term this should and already has driven wholesale prices higher. Axis will probably remain steady because there are so many.

Also, at least near term, sika, red deer and elk should drop as tpwd forces people out of that business with their CWD mania. You better get them quick though. The price of a red stag or bull elk will skyrocket once they're mostly killed off.

That's the best price I've seen, and it was for just the one animal. I've seen a few others for under $3,000 grand, but nowhere near the trophy quality of that one for $2,500. He was a really good one in the picture and it haunts me that I was too slow in replying to it.

I would agree with those prices on all except for the fallow. It cost a lot for trophy quality if you don't raise them. That's why my prices have a range on that species so that in the event I have to buy trophy quality the price is reflected for the customer and agreed upon before buying the hunt. Im just saying I can see a justifiable price on a trophy fallow up to about $3500 in today's market.

Axis prices are still holding their own for live sale and they are still ranging in that $2500-$3000 range for a hunt.
I have seen a few blackbuck prices lower than $2000 but its generally been a free range hunt and those can be done for lower price.

Red Deer, Sika, and Elk: I am not sure what is going to happen with those prices as those species are known CWD susceptible. With the current events I am unsure what thats going to do the prices on them. It may very well all depend on the ranch at that time and if they are wanting to get rid of what they have or if they are buying from a breeder.
