Yesterday was funny, she was ahead of me as I walked through 3' tall oats and wheat in my food plot approaching the feeder. Apparently there was a squirrel under it and the chase was on!! all I could see for the most part was a dog tail running all through the food plot, then I saw a squirrel gets tossed and they chase was back on. I guess she inflicted the final blow close to the tree line, because here she came head held high, with a squirrel clamped in her jaw. Wish I had been smart enough to figure out what was going on fast enough to get a video  Here she is with her prize, trying to find a "hiding" spot for it  Then today (30 minutes ago), she got a bit of help from dad, coon in a dukes, so fast shot a foot free and the shaking was on, again, she is looking for a "hiding" spot.

Oh yeah, she has become my bestest bud. Wont leave my side when I am home and lays by the door when I am gone. She gets "antsy" when my wife hugs me  Poor thing hasn't realized that the squirrels arent out at night yet though, take her out to pee and she runs to each tree to see if she can smell one LOL

That saves on ammo for sure. Beautiful shepherd. My nice-as-pie neighbor's 3 hell hounds have all died.  (All from natural causes. I swear!) The woman says their granddaughter wants a German Shepherd. The man mentioned a South African Boerboel. Man, I hope they get what the little girl wants.

Looks like she deserves a special meal for all the work. Thanks fellas, she is a hoot. I did boil her a whole chicken today, she loves "chicken day", likes boiled without bones, but loves fried chicken with crust removed as well

After we got her, we switched to a no grain diet (at 6 weeks), so she eats better than I do. Now we offer her a good grain free kibble she likes, plus different meats including fish.
