Good to see you're back on the path! Good luck with the doctors. Sure would be nice to be able to tag one or two of those big ol deer. How long do you have to reside in the state to be able to buy Resident permits?

Here the archery seasons are longer, bang shoulder keeps me from that... Shot gun with slug get more days than last hunted as res... Still prefure my Kentucky .45's... All my hunting & fishing gear tis in texas ... Years ago was looking at few of the .45 in-lines...
While the deer here are larger, have taken deer with old fashion powder & rb...
Any thoughts & inputs on .45 in-lines be apreceated...
Best Wishes ta all on up coming hunting... flag

The break overs are much easier to clean. I have a CVA Optima and a Traditions Pursuit, both 50 cal. Like both. s

cheers hangfire ... My bro has got a 50 cal. Think its a break over.... Had a missfire back in 70's while hunting with him... Back then ya only had 3 days for slug hunt, & could use muzzleloader... Had my Kentucky .45, went out shot few rounds, make sure it was hitting... Took home cleaned with hot soapy water... bang forgot ta put cap on & dry-fire... Poured powder, ball & patch, it not considered loaded till cap is on...
Had buck step out, yawn actualy woke up from my nap, & it was stairing at me... Slowly raised rifle, Ka, but no boom...
Reason for saying: keep your head held high & your powder dry ... Also on two seperate ocations had hogs get by cause of 30-30 rounds... Thanks for input... flag
