I was there last week and asked Jason if he wanted me to break out my hacksaw to "fix it" for him. He asked me to keep reminding him so I've been carpet bombing him with gentle hints and reminders here on THF...none of which he responded to...until now! Thanks Jason, now I can shoot smaller groups!

Can you pad the platform for those of us that like to shoot prone? Maybe that same material they use in gyms. Or maybe I'll bring my wife's yoga mat next time. LOL.

Well played Jason. We are putting up a long range on the Pitch. We decided to have both prone and bench. When you hunt in country like we have its rarely gonna work prone. Unless you like picking sharp objects out of your flesh. Most spot and stalk opportunities will be with shooting sticks from a sitting position so learning to shoot from the seated position is a must.

I hate to let Tim know this, but half the reason I did it was so that I can move the torture barricade under the roof in the summer. We've all gotta practice those hunting positions. Prone and bench are tested equipment. Going away from the two are for testing shooters.

Tim, how did the rail interfere with the Lab Radar? This is my typical set-up, and it works 100% of the time.
