Dang my ar15 is at the lease with a day/night scope mounted on it. This scope is way smaller and lighter it will match the AR15 platform perfect.

I already have a powerpak and cord for the day/night scope that will work on this one

need to go get a mini sd card & a laser bore sight for the .223

Would love to see some video from this thing. I am not so much interested in all the fancy gizmo stuff other than the recoil activated video, that would sure make life easy. Need some video!!

Note: Anything closers than 50 yards should look amazing. Thermal companies use that trick all the time to make scopes seem amazing. What is important is how things look at hunting distances.

didn't happen this weekend took a header off a ATV hauling corn Friday night sitting on top of corn in the back : busted top of head open on rocks & knees/hands/shoulder etc . It is not good . going to Doc tomorrow. probably going to wind up with a shaved head. wife just shampooed me with surgical soap & peroxide and picked hair out of various cuts & knots. I did bring ar15 & pwr pak & sd card home and will get it mounted & lazer bore sighted later this week and will shoot some video here in town but it will not be hunting video this week. I hate doing stuff like this and it was not even a hold my beer moment. have had a headache for the last 2 days. this is not even counting my buddy riding next to me and he went off and landed on his right side and may or may not have a cracked rib he will be seeing the doc also. there was a sharp learning curve.

Oh well - scope powered up and worked fine - put it back in case was going to mount it tonight and start video etc etc . will not power up. will call ATN tomorrow

Sorry about your accident - I hope yall weren't rushing to do too much before dark or the hunt. That's usually when the accidents occur is when rushing.

Seems like a typical ATN rollout, but maybe you're an anomaly.

I'm waiting to see all the videos from this new thermal scope in hunting situations, but it looks like I'll still be waiting a while.
