1999.99 for the base model, but that is perfect for hunts up to 150 yards maybe 200 just for zoomability. You can easily see way farther than that! Mine is on its way too! I am so happy the Thors are starting to ship out! There is a 2-3 week lead time right now for any new orders but they are no longer months in back order. but the 640 versions are still waiting on firmware to be perfected before those start to ship from ATN.

A 384 cored 1.25X thermal is not "perfect" for 150 yards and no way at 200 yards. It is maybe borderline useful, maybe, for a fairly small percentage of users at that range and shot placement will be difficult, if at all, for almost all shooters at that range. And that is given good environmental conditions. My real feeling is that it is perfect for under 50 yards and its usefulness steadily declines beyond that.

It can be difficult to tell a calf from a pig at 200 yards with a 1.25X thermal scope. It's a little blob moving around out there...

Gotta agree with dfwroadkill, a 384 resolution, 1.25x native magnification, 25mm lens thermal scope is NOT perfect for 150 yards. That is just plain naive. It would be pretty good for 50 yards and you can certainly get it to work further, but perfect for 150? Not hardly. Difficult at 150 would be a better description.

Yours is on your way? Really? It was on its way 3 weeks ago. Did the boat from China have problems?

The THOR HD are AWESOME! They are now starting to ship, but is still a 2 - 3 week lead time on orders from any dealer at this time. Mine is on the way too! EXCITED!
