E-filed my Form 1 for a .30 cal suppressor that I'm making w/ a good friend's help who has done 7 or 8 for himself.. Excluding stamp, it should be around $175-$225 in parts, depending on whether I go titanium or steel on a few components..
He's an engineer & found this thread a few years ago to follow as a guide: https://www.ar15.com/forums/t_1_5/169368...2_10_in_OP.html
Will it actually be as good a commercial built can? I have no idea.. I'm guessing it won't.. But he's done several and for the price, I couldn't refuse his offer to help me w/ my first one.. I'll try to keep this thread updated when we start the build.. NFAtracker's graph shows that it should be approved in 90-110 days.. http://www.nfatracker.com/TrendGraph.aspx
I have no idea what I'm doing, but I'm looking forward to learning about the process..
