Never met the guy so may want to check him out yourself. He came recommended through a good friend though for a buddy who has a GSP.

He talked to him and was planning to take his dog there but then his wife ended up staying home due to a new baby and she's been working the dog ever since. Sounds like he's got a nice setup and I guess his mom was pretty well known in the herding dog world...?

He's in Wharton so not too far from Lake Jackson.

Due to unforseen circumstances, i need a trainer that can take my baby for a few months. At the moment for reasons unknown to me kevin cannot facilitate this need unfortunately.

Try Buck Henderson at Backyard Training Kennels in Van Alstyne TX. He has a waiting list I believe.

Pete Thuman at Pecan Hill Kennels is the best I know. I went to his seminar. I use his techniques. He trained the red setters that I show a lot on the upland forum.

Let us know how that works out.
