New BBQ place in Boerne. They spent months getting the "ambiance" just right before opening. We tried it today. Didn't taste bad, but I'm tasting it 5 hours later. 'Hope the vodka helps.
AND, I think they've set a new state record: $17.00 a pound for brisket. Of course, with the privilege of paying this for some BBQ, you get cheap plastic ware, the cheapest of paper plates, and the challenge of finding a place to park in a tiny area.
I'm sorry, but another half-baked Boerne idea. Skip it.

Picked up 2 lbs of sliced brisket in Abilene and was $34 and change including tax, Told them I damn sure better getting 2 lbs.
