Can anyone tell me the height from the rail to the center of the bore? I
am trying to decide what height rings to get.

Thanks for your help.

I'm confused on how that will help you determine ring height.

It is far more important to be able to hit the target than it is to haggle over who makes a weapon or who pulls a trigger.

I know right...

Most people tell us what rifle/rail they have along with scope model/size. Only then can we help you out with ring height.

There are a ton of people that are running the RPR. Why not just find out what ring type, height, and scope they are running?

I was wondering so I could run a ballistic calaulator and try and figure out which height would offer the best second zero. May not be much difference, but I was just going to help out where ever I can. The bell size won't really matter because I am currently planning on running a vortex viper 2.5-10x32 HSLR

For example. Using Blackhills 175 BTHP as an example and using bore to optic height as the variable.

2" above bore give a 50 and a second zero at about 140

2.5" above bore give a 50 and a second zero at about 175

3" above bore give a 50 and a second zero at about 205

I want to be able to work on the calculations and get my exact zero on the fly, but till I am confident I am trying to set up the rifle to have a good first and second zero.
