Will parts kits for 1911's fit a Taurus PT1911? The guy I bought mine from yrs ago, told me they would not. True or no?

BTW: No, I am not having troubles, never had a problem, and hits the target nicely.

I believe they're mil spec.

It's been a while since I messed with one, but I do remember it not being truly mill spec. I think it had key safety and maybe a firing pin safety. But like I said, it's been years since I've looked at one

Ive been looking to buy a used PT 1911. I understand its a great 1911 for the price.
I have a Taurus PT 92 and it functions and shoots great.


It ain't easy being me.
