Thanks to our 14 new babies, we have decided it's time to do a little management on our scimitar horned oryx herd. We have 4-5 cow oryx yearlings(born Jan-feb 2015) that we will let go for $1000 a piece. First ones to send a deposit($250) gets them. Rifle only. I will waive the daily fee if we are successful & you do the cleaning, if not, the daily fee is $200/day. Also will give 1 free night in cabin if hunt is taken on a weekday. These hunts should be able to be completed in 1 day, they will be done driving around in a truck or ranger until we get a shot. Other animals are available, check out our website chalkcreekexotics.com for any info or questions.

Thanks
Mike

That's a great price. I'm looking at your website and your prices for your hunts are also very good. I've book marked your page and hope to be in touch this fall.

Good price, I wish I knew the results of the New Mexico draw, or I would be all over this..

How big is one of these yearling females? If they taste anything like gemsbok this is a homerun.

Scimitar Oryx is better than Gemsbok

Wow, that's saying something. Gemsbok is the finest tasting wild game I've ever eaten.

The yearlings will be somewhere around 175-200lbs live weight I'd guess. We prefer oryx meat over most anything. I have never tried Gemsbok, I'm sure it's great too, but oryx & axis are our favorite around here. In fact we shoot oryx ourselves & grind into hamburger meat rather than buy beef from the store. It's great stuff.

I went this weekend. Excellent hunt, excellent people and very good value. One of the better hunts I've booked off here and would have absolutely no hesitation about going back

Pending sale on all the remaining yearling oryx. Thanks for the interest. We will be selling some trophy cow hunts later this summer once the babies are weaned. I will update price & availability once I know more

Thanks to all
Mike

I'll be interested in a cow hunt, Mike. Let me know when you get the calves weaned.

Looking forward to this. I'm thinking that a scimitar oryx is next on my list for the collection.
