Looking at land west of Linden. Looks good from google earth, but I've never hunted that far east. Hoping for good deer and hog hunting, but hoping for duck and possibly dove as well. Are there plenty of deer and hogs in the area? Do the deer get big? I've also heard poaching, tresspassing, and hogdoggers running rampant with no regard for property boundaries can be an issue. Any input is appreciated.

Asking to see if it's worth the drive out there to check it out. Thanks!

What you've heard is correct in parts of the county. I hunt north of there off hwy8. There can be some really good deer if the property is big enough of the neighbors aren't shooting everything that's legal which seems to be becoming a problem. No idea how the hunting is down 155(which I'm guessing is going towards the property in question) but I've seen decent numbers feeding along the road at night when I drive to longview. Lots of timber being cut around linden right now. Probably gonna depend a lot on how big the property is. Don't get on a property that doesn't have oak trees

Property is about 100 acres, not huge. It looks like there could be some logging on some of the surrounding properties... Likely going to check it out this weekend and will be sure to look for oaks.
