My garden is alive with Hummingbirds. Saw 6 at one time at a feeder but wasn't fast enough with the camera. I didn't know the honeybee was in the first photo until after I downloaded them. The hummer is really keeping an eye on it. I must have had 12 to 16 hummers flying around. Thats a lot for my area.

Up until yesterday all the Hummers were Black chinned . Yesterday the Ruby Throat starting showing up. I guess the storms are
pushing them up this way.

Great photos.

Is just me, or do hummingbirds always look angry?

Great pics. They are very active this time of year. Was out at Erath Kid's place this weekend and they were buzzing around in all directions.

Great pics. We only have a few right now. But it's usually that way, we have 3-4 all summer, then get swarmed around mid August to first of September when they are headed back South.

Have you been around them much? They ARE always angry! I've never seen a meaner bird, at least when it comes to other hummers.

I don't know about mean but they are very, very protective of their feeder area. They chase all intruders away. They are like little dive bombers around the feeder. Glad everyone likes the photos, will post some more in a few days.
